SYNOPSIS

       TIFFDataType TIFFFieldDataType(const TIFFField *fip)

DESCRIPTION

       TIFFFieldDataType()  returns  the  data  type stored in a TIFF field.  fip is a field information pointer
       previously returned by TIFFFindField(), TIFFFieldWithTag(), or TIFFFieldWithName().

RETURN VALUES

       TIFFFieldDataType() returns a member of the enum type TIFFDataType.
